Java and .NET
Learn Object Oriented Design using Java or .NET technologies. All classes are taught live by an experienced instructor using phone conferencing and desktop sharing software. LightShine Software can prepare you for Microsoft Certification, Java Programming Certification, or the Computer Science Advanced Placement test for college students. Classes can accommodate up to 15 students. Prerequisites include access to a computer with broadband Internet access.
Computer Science in High School
LightShine Software believes that computer science should be a core elective in secondary schools. Many school districts treat Computer Science as a vocational offering. This ignores Computer Science as a discipline for students with the intent to pursue a bachelors degree at a four year college. Homeschooling
Miles Ulrich, owner and founder of LightShine Software, is a firm believer in parent directed education to ensure young students reach their full potential while developing a Godly character.
